A double dose of third wave emo in Chicago
Closing out the year on a high note, third wave emo legends Joyce Manor and Algernon Cadwallader delivered a double dose of deeply-felt, heart-on-your-sleeve indie rock and pop punk for a thrilled crowd at the Concord Music Hall in Chicago. Algernon Cadwallader led off the night, turning back the clock with a tight set that balanced hits from several albums. Later, Joyce Manor capped off the evening with tracks off their beloved albums Never Hungover Again, self-titled, Cody, and more. You can scroll through the gallery below for the highlights.
