Rising German bedroom pop group delivers stunning show in NYC
Over the past few years, the Berlin group Strongboi have been captivating the indie music sphere with their chill, zoned-out take on lo-fi bedroom pop. Last year, they dropped their excellent self-titled debut LP, and they’ve been touring the globe ever since. Last week in New York, the rising band delivered a warm, ethereal show for a packed audience at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Shimmering guitars, relaxing rhythms, and singer Alice Phoebe Lou’s hypnotic vocals were on full display, proving their mettle as a band to keep an eye on.
