Stockholm-based electro-pop collective Alexandria has been hard at work on their debut album Bossa. But while we not-so-patiently await its release date (January 2017), we’ve got the exclusive premiere for their single “Home”. From the get-go, you are transported into a twinkling synth dream, as though you are in a new place. In fact, it’s got that “vacation” feel to it, even though the title suggests the exact opposite. It’s definitely a song to enjoy thoroughly over the holiday season.
“‘Home’ was an old idea for a song that we picked up again,” Alexandria admits. “Our new band member Harry gave it a new chance with a synthier approach and did wonders with it.”
Bossa is due out January 27th via Lab259.
