New transmissions from Venezuela have been sent. This time it's in the form of two remixes.
Anticipation for Algodón Egipcio's debut could reach critical mass by mid-February if a few more remixes travel up the continent and are smuggled stateside. He recently remixed Dominant Legs' “Clawing Out At The Walls” and Foot Village's “Lovers With Iraqis”. The Foot Village remix is the closest to channeling the bedroom scientist house-shoegazing vibes of his leaked jams, but it is mostly due to the esoteric chants. Sure, it's not a sexually infused as Spanish in a Venezuelan accent, but that's not the point here. The point is to hand clap and jitterbug shake to this.
