The South London Artist Fuses Genres Magnificently on Stunning New EP..
Residing in South London by raised in the South of France, the enigmatic and talented songwriter Alice MC has just shared a gem of an EP in the form of ‘Storyteller’. Rich in elements of Soul, Jazz, Pop & Folk – It’s an effervescent release that showcases an artist for whom the ceiling is incredibly high.
At only 21 years of age, Alice’s musical heritage is way beyond her years. Raised by a composer mother, she fell in love with music at a young age and went on to study at the prestigious London Guildhall school. She soon involved herself with creative collaborations across the capital city’s rich soul and Jazz scene before crafting the stunning new ‘Storyteller’ EP.
The release showcases all the talented artists influences and the breadth of her songwriting ability. ‘Colours’ is a prime example of her Jazz background coming to the fore, whereas the lead single ‘My Love’ is a stunning, affecting piece of indie-folk with lush elements of electronic production.
