Apache Dropout, “I'm So Glad”

Jeremy Krinsley

apache dropout self-titled

We approved of the trio from south Indiana when they dropped their debut single back in September. Enter the follow-up. Apache Dropout's self-titled LP is a half-hour of southern fried dialects babbling out hazy proto-punk, utterly blazed boogie down romps and the kind of chugging good ol' blasted rock music that speaks the same tongue from Lou Reed to the band's namesake Edgar Broughton Band.

Apache Dropout is a kind of regional supergroup, with former members of John Wilkes Booze, Hot Fighter #1 and Lord Fyre filling out the ranks. The record is out March 29 on Family Vineyard.
