CSLSX reps Philadelphia, but the collective's members stretch to distant lands like Paris, Budapest and London. Knowing this only makes understanding the collage process of its sample heavy marraige of freestyle and disco more difficult to comprehend. Are these songs passed around the world, slowly gathering layers along with Visa stamps, until it lands back in Philly and on the internet?
A year ago “Futuretapes” put them on the radar, but last month's remix of Bibio's “Jealous Of Roses” stirred the intrigue again. Both of these songs, as well as a Light Pollution remix, can be heard on CSLSX's Soundcloud.
