Dent May of the Cats Purring collective in Mississippi has a new record coming out called Warm Blanket, and through the few tracks we've heard of it so far, it's sure to be a blanket fit for a stadium full of Linuses. Though Dent May has already adopted a certain nostalgic sweetness in his songs, with their lilty melodies and his fine-tuned songcraft, it's definitely a fun change to see his music taking on a dancier, funkier tone. Remixed by house legend Larry Heard aka Mr. Fingers, the track is vibrant and eminently danceable, and has roots in one of the strongest earworms we've heard in ages. We dare you to get “born too la-a-a-a-a-te” out of your head. You cant.
