Dibiase, “Skullcrack”

L.A.'s Dibiase dropped his solo debut Machines Hate Me today on Alpha Pup, officially emerging from the scene that cultivated his style.

“Skullcrack” has the warble of a Low End set; that sound that makes you feel as though you're literally inside a woofer even from the bathroom. L.A. residents, I encourage you to skedaddle to the Airliner tomorrow to witness for yourself. This Wednesday's Low End Theory night is also the Dibiase release party with additional sets by Mike Gao, Blank Blue and Low Limit (of Lazer Sword).

Created by animator/director Anthony Ciannamea (with Mark Wisniowski (CG and Smoke FX) and illustrators

Ryan Sievert and Lane Fujita), the “Skullcrack” video features Dibiase enjoying some haze and ultimately tripping balls as the smoke threatens to crack heads. This is a rare instance, in which I am not trying to sample that sticky green… shit is too scary.
