St. Louis-based Exercise have great pop sensibilities and they take their songs through metric loops and sharp left hand turns and once you step past the fact that most everything that is heading towards triumphal flourishes all while holding onto something weird (see the octave'd vocals in “New Letters”) will make you want to listen to Sung Tongs, the kids are more than alright. Do some crunches.
