Dracula got drunk at the airport, got on the wrong plane, ended up in San Diego and has been writing dark and scuzzy garage-punk there for the past several years. That’s the story we’d like to believe about The Drunken Draculas, who have announced the release of their latest work, a self-titled EP. The EP contains four songs, clocking in under ten minutes total. The opening track and personal favorite, “Sangre Negra”, is a jittery and jumping garage anthem that will frighten you as much as it will evoke the need to get up and dance.
