Exile is most notably known for introducing us to the likes of Aloe Blacc, Fashawn and Blu, but his solo beat record Radio should not be slept on. The 2009 record is getting the remix treatment as AM/FM.
It's been years since I thought about the Beat Junkies, but it's good to know the crew is not even close to falling off. DJ Rhettmatic's remix to “It's Coming Down” is an off-kilter bass bounce record, leaving plenty of space for Rhettmatic to cut up a pastor's sermon, or a political activists' rant or a Wal-Mart employee that's truly passionate about the falling prices. For now, Exile's AM/FM project lacks further information, so enjoy this leak and wait patiently for a full tracklist that should feature plenty of remixes and guest verses inspired by the Radio record.
