FWY!'s Any Exit would be the perfect soundtrack for swimming at a sultry beach on the moon, if one were to exist. San Francisco's Edmund Xavier has done well with his follow up to last year's San Clemente. Released on March 11 through Moon Glyph Records, Any Exit is available for less than most spend on a beer, though two tracks from the album are readily available for a listen now.
“Any Exit”, the opening to the album, begins with a ghostly organ but tenderly falls into a blissful melody saturated with sunny guitars. “Garden Grove”, the penultimate track of the album is jaunty and upbeat. Gleaming guitar and driving drums rev the song forward into a track that is delightfully nostalgic.
