Guidance, the Los Angles based singer also known as Stefan Pruett, has just finished a sixteen date United States tour with Crystal Castles. His upcoming single is “When You’re With Us”, and we’ve got the exclusive premiere.
Upon first listening to “When You’re With Us”, you find yourself transported to a 1980’s dance club. Guidance has a fluid voice that is reminiscent of the vocals of lead singer of Depeche Mode Dave Gahan – especially in the song “Strangelove” – and he has crafted lyrics that go hand in glove with the tune. His influences include Bauhaus, New Order and Talking Heads, all bands that use strong dance beats to set the table for their lyrics. “When You’re With Us” will definitely be a song that you will want to add to your playlist.
