Australian newcomer and singer/songwriter, Harry Permezel, got his start producing electronic music, before diving head first into guitar work, found throughout his self-titled release. Written largely during his time as a college sophomore, Harry Permezel is festival-like anthem that grabs one by the hand and walks them through a museum of their own memories.
“Wind” is the closing song to the 8 long piece, and a track I found to be the most memorable. The “hyper-focused approach” to songwriting with Harry Permezel isn’t lost in translation, but rather comes off the ‘page’ even through your first listen.
