The London Songwriter Isn’t Resting on her laurels
It’s been an incredible year for London songwriter and former Brit School graduate Hedara. In her short four-month music career, she’s been supported regularly on BBC Radio 2, Earmilk, Clash Magazine, Adidas Online and Spotify’s “Fresh Finds” playlist. She’s also supported Tom Speight on tour and performed sold out shows.
A few years back, she was enjoying a lively start to her music career under a different alias, performing a number of key shows and festivals before having near death experience. She fells into a diabetic coma which caused her to reassess and reevaluate her artistic outlook.
Since then, she’s began working with Carey Willets (Dua Lipa, Freya Ridings, Dermot Kennedy) and has produced a number of key releases. The latest of which is “Skin Deep,” a more emotive, pop-focused track to her previous work. Check it out below.
