Height with Friends, “Dreams Don't Always Come True”

I think this is probably what James Murphy and LCD Soundsystem would look and sound like if he and his band came up in the Baltimore milieu rather than the New York ladder that ends with him embodying the hollowed-out zeitgeist of hipster cool, Spring 2010.

In fact, we could probably call this an anecdote to Murphy's beauty pageant platitudes about learning that being cool was never what he'd thought it was going to be like, delivered from the DFA offices in a crisp suit.

Still, not as crisp as this fricking video for the song “Dreams Don't Always Come True” is by Height with Friends, a Baltimore group with an album out this week called Bed of Seeds.

Video directed by Sukkatash and Sarah Milinski. More details here.
