Following up his 2012 releases Moon Money and Midi Murder, the midi-master Nick Koenig, aka Hot Sugar, has given us a straight mafioso demo cut to premiere, called “And The Walls Came Tumbling Down”, from the forthcoming God's Hand EP. Fit with the eerie, originally composed minor strokes of an antiquated piano, the NYC beat connoisseur weaves in his warped electronic trips into the instrumental track that'll haunt you with thoughts of severed horse heads in your bed. It's a song for a rainy day that grabs with its twisted moody simplicity.
Hot Sugar, we are honored and grateful that you have invited us into your mind on this Friday. And we hope this first track be a dope preview of what's to come on your upcoming EP of “dark lullabies” (if you're confused, listen to the song and then enroll in an introductory film course). Check it out below.
