Island Eyelids consistently flays the battered lines between sample collage and destructo noise violence and ambient drifter ballads, and his latest digital droppings are no joke. The 28 minute “Single swingers summer mixer” [sic?] is a gorgeous panoply of stoners on vacation, zoning on the first three notes they heard on their alarm radio and expanding them into a universe of wordless idioms and undulating day dreams translatable only to those similarly gifted with the ability to drift through summer on a giant weed boat.
