Brooklyn arty duo Japanther have been in the business of making music in this fair city for as long as we can remember, and their pleasant momentum never seems to slow. On their latest, the poignantly titled “Do It (Don't Try)”, Japanther utilizes their skill for making short bursts of blissful melodies to encourage head-bopping singalongs and persistent earworms. The “doo-doo-doo-doo” refrain is some of Japanther's catchiest stuff yet, especially as it aligns itself with the duo's never-give-up philosophy.
“Do It (Don't Try)” comes from the forthcoming Japanther record, Instant Money Magic, which will release on Seayou Records on April 15.
