Koresma, “Bridges”

Andre G

Koresma Bridges

It seems like genre-bending music is the norm these days. Producers from all over the world are frequently fusing elements of electronic, trap rap, grime, R&B and so many other genres in various combos. The versatility of modern music is rarely analyzed as a social statement in itself, but Asheville, NC producer Koresma did such with “Bridges”, his latest instrumental track. Fusing melancholy guitar play with swift, echoing keys, Koresma crafted a meditative soundbed over crisp drums, allowing each instrument has its own moment guiding the track. The guitar play is contemplative, while the bright keys add an optimistic air to the composition.

Koresma has said the song is “inspired by the idea of how bridges connect people and places, while walls divide.”
