Late Bloomers is an LA trio that formed in 2009 under the cruel but fair guidance of Lord Quas and the distraction of writing rhymes instead of taking notes in law class.
The short story behind the Late Bloomers is as follows; DJ and producer ReallyNathan was trying his chops at rapping until one day Lord Quas told him to quit that shit – when Lord Quas speaks you listen. Around this time Ahh:Zel was in a law school lecture hall, not listening, but writing rhymes about a fly shorty next to him and texting Nonstop about starting a rap group named Late Bloomers. The music the trio made after finding their guiding light in hip hop became the Three Shades Brown EP. Check out the first single, “Never Don't Grow” in our player.
