Finally listened to a tape by Weed Diamond's favorite offspring that's been floating free for the better part of a month. The solo project of Denver's Tim Perry, Lush Cola specializes in lucid dreams and hoo's and ahh's harmonized sweetly. Simple, supple tunes.
You know, buy it, but this 100-run tape on Patient Sounds is also here. The two featured tracks go from loping to lazy as a dry heat afternoon with the windows barely cracked and a slow rising Plains States wind calling outside.
Let's just assume that “Lush” is the solo project's theme song.
