With their debut LP, Impersonator, set to come out on May 21, Majical Cloudz have released a new track for download called “Bugs Don't Buzz” and it's a slow, patient, and emotional piano ballad that cuts straight to the core. On the group's Tumblr, singer Devon Welsh claims that the song is representative of a time when he'd given up on his songwriting ability, and a friend used it as an example of his strengths. As Welsh puts it, “It feels like the act of playing it is in some small way an attempt to repay the friend who encouraged me to have confidence.” It's tragic and slow and if you're feeling good, maybe sit this one out. Download the track below and catch the band on tour for the month of May with Youth Lagoon.
