I have been head-over-heels for the Kansas City native Casey Burge’s new cassette Triumph since its release late this past June. Burge manages both to quench my thirst for down-tempo bass beats and to satisfy my soft spot for pure pop vocals. It’s tightly produced and cleverly written and still… cool.
