Don't let the fact that Portland's Meth Teeth's debut LP is coming out on Woodsist or that Vice likes 'em turn you away. There's no need to preempt Meth Teeth backlash, (the search results will do that, anyway).
Their (inevitably) lo-fi fuzz rock rides rootsy in a way that's as melodically attuned to Delta blues as to a Wipers song. (See the first instrumental breakdown in “Bus Rides” for that.) And since that track is a lo-res rip from their Myspace and this first track here, “Never Been To Church”, is an unmastered version of a song that'll appear on their upcoming LP, you'll have to wait and order their music for something more pristine.
