No Age's fourth full-length album is slated for release on August 20, and though we've seen contributions the likes of what No Age is comfortable with (albeit with a shiny twist that feels at once homemade and highly produced), “An Impression” is easily the record's standout. Utilizing strings and a ballad setup, the track practically glows with empathy and lo-fi sweetness. When a low-hit guitar comes in to notate the track with a syrupy riff, the song had us sold—then, a fuzzy string section adds its touch. There's nothing in No Age's oeuvre quite like this, and it speaks to the hard work the group is putting into this handmade record.
