OXYMORRONS has described the original track as a simulation of “floating through a kaleidoscopic dream” which aims to put listeners in a “meditative trance.” The remix could be described as a breakneck jaunt through a sugar high.
Fresh augmented singers KI and Deee’s triumphant vocals with sharp 808 drum programming that gave the track a new dynamic, while keeping the original vibe intact. The pensive lyrics and euphoric synthesizer of the original remain, but the periodic breakdowns make the track ripe for the dance floor.
The Tommy Boy signees are preparing their debut EP, which will hopefully showcase sonics akin to “Hello Me”, and the remix. Colino Fresh’s remix can be streamed below.
