Peppermint Heaven – Break Your Fall (Danvers Remix)

Danvers Explores the Glory of UK Rave in New Remix

Indie pop duo Peppermint Heaven are set to build on the momentum created by their hugely successful ‘Curious Things’ album, with the release of some stellar, powerful remixers in the UK. Juno & Spark have had quite the year so far, receiving critical acclaim for their last album, which also garnered a great deal of support from the Spotify playlist community. The album was a brave & unequivocally unique take on 80’s music, in a contemporary production setting, seamlessly blending the old & new with an incredible performance & no small amount of fun.

Their latest foray into the UK’s rich underground electronic scene, is the work of rising producer Danvers. Joe Danvers has been slowly building a diverse catalog of dance music since moving to London in 2015. Previous EP’s have been released on house staple FINA Records, the eclectic Wotnot Music and Ben Gomori’s Monologues label. Future EP’s are currently lined up with London’s legendary CoOp Presents collective, and Bristol’s Boogie Cafe. Danvers latest EP Interludes (released on Wotnot) has received praise & radio play from Gilles Peterson, Detroit Swindle & Bradley Zero to name a few. It spans broken beat, house, jazz and lofi, with remixes from Warren Xclnce, Joe Armon-Jones & Frits Wentink.

The new track is a powerful assault on electronic music. Built with vintage breaks, epic crescendos and a retro take on dance music. It’s a throwback, that also looks towards the future. Check it out below
