Sri Aurobindo definitely “groovy”

Cover art for Sri Aurobindo, Cave Painting

Sri Aurobindo caters in dank psychedelic garage licks and glittery vintage organs humming along to visuals of 18-wheeler hubcaps spinning aginst mescalin-tinted deserts, big hair bobbing, wah pedals being wah-ed.

Especially on this track:

Sri Aurobindo, “Soul Vibrations of Man”

This one, too:

Sri Aurobindo, “Don't Know”

You may recognize the group as one of the bands featured on our recent Friends Record sampler. They're based in Baltimore alongside fellow guitar heroes Weekends.

Sri Aurobindo's first full length Cave Painting is out on Friends Records this summer in a 500-run edition on green vinyl with screenprint insert by Chris Day of Lost Ghosts Records.
