Sacramento hip hop producer extraordinare Lee Bannon has been reclusively doing his thing for a few years now. His production can be heard behind the likes of Inspectah Deck, Talib Kweli, Termanology and Curren$y, as well as producing full albums for Wille The Kid (Never A Dull Moment) and Chuuwee (Hot N' Ready). Oh, and DJ Premier just shouted him out, while premiering Bannon's new single “The Things” with Del The Funkee Homosapien – so he's got that going for him.

The single is the B-side to Bannon's “Search & Destroy” A-side, which features Chuck Inglish of Cool Kids. Both sides are pretty much the ill vibe shit, ya heard? Bannon brings out a side of Del that's been lacking since the Deltron 3030 record, while the A-side actually sounds like a lo-fi take on the Deltron 3030 record. Both cuts will be on Bannon's Plastic Fantastic record out in early 2012 on Plug Research.
