The Mallard's b-side for LAMC #3

LAMC #3

When Greer McGettrick isn't interpreting dreams for Impose, she fronts San Francisco garage-psych band The Mallard. In the stint of The Mallard, she is the band's driving force as players come and go. She's even taken it to early Ty Segall-lengths, playing solo with a drum at her feet. Her demos caught the ear of Mr. Dwyer of Thee Oh Sees fame, who releasd The Mallard's debut, Yes On Blood, on his Castle Face imprint in Februrary.

McGettrick linked up with Thee Oh Sees once again for the latest installment in the LAMC 7″ series, which is a benefit series for the Ariel Panero Memorial Fund at VH1 Save The Music. The Mallard's “Over And Under” is big-rig-billy pop that's hitched up and chugging down the road runner lanes at 100 mph. Purchase the vinyl, give The Mallard's side a big sniff and we bet you get a whiff of diesel mixed with dust.
