An ominous harvest moon and Death Grips' wang-doodle gracing the internet as “art” along with their sophomore album NO LOVE DEEP WEB for free download dumped the last shovel-load of dirt on the grave of September. It's a month we've worked the graveyard shift to bury on our own. We crowned August with three records in our Best of the Month piece. We were simply faced with too much gold and indecision. September is back to school doldrums, football brain drain, and the fuggery of internal clocks as it stays hotter than we remember growing up. Do we squeeze a few morsels of summer bumming in or do we force fall on our lives against nature's will? It's all so very confusing, but then we look at that death wang and our minds are clear. It's fuggin' October and we don't give a shit about how fuggin' lifeless it was in September. We're sticking our [proverbial] dicks in your mashed potatoes at the Halloween party.
