Tigers Jaw, “Nervous Kids”

On their third studio full-length, Charmer, Scranton, PA's Tigers Jaw take a step back from the frenetic sound they put forth on previous records in favor of something more restrained. They've released a new single, “Nervous Kids,” a pop punk anthem if there ever was one, where, perhaps, the lyrics hint at the maturation of their sound. Lines “we're just nervous kids/ we're just over it” feel retrospective, now that they've had the chance to reflect on an already prolific rock career, and now that they aren't “just nervous kids” anymore. The band is planning a full US summer tour with dates TBA.
