Bristol-based producer Vessel has just dropped a stream of his new single “Red Sex,” a dark, sensual exploration of whining string synths and deep, rattling percussion.
The first single off of his second Tri Angle Records release–the masochistically titled Punish, Honey–is fittingly violent and seductive in its metallic, industrial leanings.
Filled with woozy strings that float in between deep bass thumps and molten buzz, it lends the track a very macabre horror carnival feel. Sly and punishing, it’s absolutely hypnotic in its see-saw, round-about sound. A dark, dystopian vision of desire, Vessel’s definitely mixed up quite the eyebrow raiser.
