Warm Brew, “Small Victories”

Andre G

This Tuesday, take a pause before you dive headfirst into the week’s stresses and appreciate the small moments. I’m sure Cali trio Warm Brew would love if their new track, “Small Victories,” was the theme music. The group is gearing up to drop their as-of-yet untitled solo album, and have given us a small taste of what to expect.
All three members ride the smooth Swiff D track with precision, spittin’ double time rhymes about their growth as artists and “taking the good with the bad, cause growin’ up that’s all we ever had.” That’s a great way to approach things — no surprise as the group has showed throughout their career, they have the proper perspective. After dropping their debut Diagnosis EP in the summer of 2016, the guys seemingly took this summer to craft their latest work. In the meantime, they will also be touring with The Underachievers and Injury Reserve this fall, a compelling grouping of three strong hip-hop groups.
You can stream “Small Victories” here.
