Kristian Mattson performs a four-song set for Hooves on the Turf's Secret Garden series.
The fine people at Hooves on the Turf are known for making some beautiful videos. They also seem to be in love with Sweden's The Tallest Man On Earth. So it really wasn't too surprising to see they created this intimate performance piece during his most recent visit to Brooklyn. In this 16-minute clip, Mattson plays “This Wind” and a cover of Patsy Cline’s “I Fall to Pieces” in an empty brick stairwell before wandering to the windy rooftop for “Over the Hills” and an old-fashioned elevator for “Steal Tomorrow”.
