Getting right to the point in under three minutes may be a specialty of Vancouver punk band White Lung, but that doesn't mean they've developed a shtick. In a new release called “Blow It South”, frontwoman Mish Way grinds all pressing thoughts to a galloping halt once we realize that she's taking her deep-bellowed, harshed vocals to a height that show absolutely no mercy. No matter how you get there—whether it's through turning it all the way up or bringing it way, way down—you'll feel like you took a cleansing bath in motor oil. Being covered in muck may sound brutal, but when you're at the bottom, the only way out is up through the rubble.
This single releases as an A-side to a 7″ out on November 5 via Deranged in the US and November 11 through Sexbeat in the UK. White Lung will be out on tour with Antwon at the dates below.
