Brooklyn duo Acrylics are set to release their debut LP, Lives and Treasure, on January 25.
The album was produced by some of the fellas who've worked with MGMT and Yeasayer, plus mastered by an engineer who's worked with Nas and Rihanna, so combine all that with their slippery 70s guitars, down-home melodies, and Molly Shea's sultry susurrations and it should be a doozy.
Must you see to believe? Acrylics are playing in New York this weekend. Check our calendar for details. They'll show Steven Tyler and Stevie Nicks that mic stand scarf-tying isn't just for the olds.
