There's something about 80s goth, 90s shoegaze, and 00s dream-pop that seems to hold the same nostalgia through each decade. From The Cure to My Bloody Valentine, through The Radio Dept., the wave of lonely dreamers presses on. Beginning the new decade by drawing influence from all of the above, Craft Spells may sound a little too familiar for a generation surrounded by over-reverbed vocals and jangly guitars. Although, if you don't catch my drift you'll absolutely love them.
