I usually get a bit worried when a somewhat obscure band that I love comes out of the woodwork after laying dormant, first for decades, and then a couple years, and then hits the road. When I heard a few tracks for the upcoming Anti- Records release by Tropicalia legends Os Mutantes, I felt a bit more relieved that we aren't treading through an awkward Tecnicolor lounge act lost in translation. Now the information that they are hitting the road and taking a band that put out one of the most pleasant surprises of 2008, DeLeon is making me realign the way I look at life, or at least tropical revivals.
