This January saw the unfortunate breakup announcement of beloved Brooklyn band Vivian Girls, who've played their last string of local shows and called it quits as a threesome. On the bright side, individual members have been moving forward with promising side projects, like Katy Goodman's—continuing under the moniker of La Sera—upcoming record release with Hardly Art. La Sera released its debut self-titled full-length album in 2011 and has remained afloat up until now, at which point Goodman can give it her full attention.
Check out the short trailer for the album, entitled House of the Dawn, complete with summer vibes and red hair swishing. The record will be available on May 6.
