After canceling her most recent tour and pushing off an album release due to being diagnosed with bile duct cancer earlier this year, Sharon Jones is back with her Dap-Kings seemingly bigger and better than ever. Give The People What They Want, which will come out through Daptone Records, now gets it release date on January 14, 2014, after which Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings will play a homecoming show at The Beacon Theater on February 6. This will be their first show in almost a year. We hope Sharon is feeling much better and ready to rule.
