The Misters Premiere New Track "GSP", Announce Debut EP Complicated People

Post Author: Meredith Schneider

Through several roster changes, the brainchild of New York’s alternative group The Misters has stayed the same. Michael Nitting – along with the incredible live support of a variety of talented musicians – is a man with many talents beyond his years, and is now preparing for the release of his debut EP, titled Complicated People. Due out March 3rd on Invertebrate, it’s sure to be an incredible. But before that happens, we’ve got the premiere of the new track “GSP”.
Slow, quiet, simple guitar. Slow, quiet, beautiful vocals. As he sings of desiring a change of pace, his voice exudes a confidence found in artists like Brendon Urie and even Sinatra. (We’re just saying that when Nitting is ready to retire, he could easily transition into fancy lounge singer.) The song is delivered smoothly – even with the introduction of percussion – and is something we could find ourselves listening to repeatedly for quite a while.

The Misters will be playing Pianos in New York on February 21st and March 12th at MilkBoy in Philadelphia. Complicated People is out March 3rd via Invertebrate. It is available for preorder now. Keep up with the band here.
