Bay Area freak-rocker Ty Segall announced that he'll be releasing his seventh studio album, Sleeper, on August 20 through Drag City. With a short, unnerving video that you have to see to understand, Ty is in a bunch of different places sleeping, which matches the dark, spiraling feeling that the first song off the new record incites in us. It's eerie and wonder-inspiring all at once. Segall is playing at LA's FYF Fest in late August, but has yet to announce any tour dates to support this record. Stay tuned.
