Following up his 2013 debut with Comfort Falls, Brooklyn's Chris Masullo, penning works of moody strange-pop as Nicholas Nicholas (also a member of Heavenly Beat), has just shared the first single off his forthcoming LP, a track called “Meet Me In The Park.” Fans of Arthur Russel and Ariel Pink will find soothing familiarity in the hazy layers, well-worth multiple listens to peel away.
Masullo self-recorded the track with the help of friend and fellow musician Warren Hildebrand of Foxes in Fiction, and with gentle guitar strumming in the background, you can tell where the song's modest roots lie.
