Hot Sugar – oka Nick Koenig – has officially wrapped up his Seductive Nightmares mixtape trilogy with Seductive Nightmares Vol 3. The mixtape is being hosted in a stream on Hot Sugar’s Soundcloud. It’s kind of a big deal, and is presented by Dover Street Market, who are also collaborating with Hot Sugar by offering a limited edition run of a Seductive Nightmares inspired clothing line called Noise Collector. For those of you who haven’t gotten wind of this amazing news, we have your first listen of the mixtape below.
Created with the intent for the listener to enjoy the music at night, alone, Hot Sugar wants the music to lure you into a dreamworld of romanticism. The mixtape artwork itself breeds sensual feelings, largely honed in on with the use of ethereal keyboard, twinkling bells, and bass lines that flow together like one glass of wine into another.
