October 2021 Mix

Jeff Cubbison

New tracks, videos & live clips from Let’s Eat Grandma, ZillaKami, Hatchie, Death Valley Girls & more

For the last half decade, the prodigious Norwich, England-based duo Let’s Eat Grandma has crafted some of the most searing, forward-thinking electronic pop music out there. At the heart of their music, Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth tradeoff vocal and instrumental duties in hypnotically inventive ways, captivating audiences with their deeply whimsical and emotional lyrics and their stratospheric melodies. Their last album, 2018’s I’m All Ears, was a kaleidoscopic synth-pop journey and one of the best albums of the year.

Now Let’s Eat Grandma has finally returned with their first new single in three years: the lush, crystalline, effervescent-sounding “Hall of Mirrors.” It’s another gorgeous addition to the duo’s discography, and perhaps a signal that a new album could be on the horizon. We can only hope! Until then, “Hall of Mirrors” leads off our latest monthly YouTube mix, which also features new singles, music videos, and live performance clips from the likes of ZillaKami, Makthaverskan, Hatchie, Death Valley Girls, Fire-Toolz, and more.
