Things to do in Denver when you’re Brian Shaw

Post Author:

Breaking a fourth quarter huddle in a losing effort to the Utah Jazz last Friday, the Denver Nuggets came together and chanted, “1-2-3…six weeks!” As in six weeks until the end of the season. The Nuggets are having a terrible season and are the third-worst team in the West; losers of 19 out of their last 21 games and still more than a month away from the reprieve of the off-season. To top it all off, in came this nugget of information suggesting coach Brian Shaw wasn’t getting on with his players.

Shaw was subsequently fired, bringing his brief two-year tenure as the Nuggets coach to a close. But we’ve heard Denver’s a pretty chill town. Maybe he’ll want to hang around for a bit. If he does, may we suggest a few of the following activities?

JaVale McGee was part of the trade deadline fire sale and wound up in Philadelphia briefly before getting waived. Just don’t let him drive, Brian.
