The Brooklyn bands brought dream pop, shoegaze, and synthpop vibes to Chicago
Beach Fossils, the veteran indie rock band from Brooklyn that specializes in conjuring dreamy, gazy alternative sounds, rolled through Chicago last weekend and wowed the sold-out crowd at House of Blues. Earlier in the night, their fellow Brooklyn peers Nation of Language – fast-rising through the indie ranks thanks to their immaculate throwback synthpop stylings – opened the show with an energetic fervor that carried throughout the rest of the night.
